Good YKI answers sound planned, even when you only have a few seconds to think. Opinion frames give you that plan. Learn them as small chunks, then use them in writing exercises, monologues, and short speaking reactions.
Long memorized essays break easily under pressure. Sentence openings help you move from idea to Swedish without freezing.
Start the topic clearly
Use these when the task asks you to introduce an opinion, describe a situation, or begin a short monologue.

State your opinion

Add one reason immediately, so the answer develops beyond an opinion.
Give the reason
YKI answers improve when every opinion has a reason. These connectors do the work.

Organize your points
Clear structure matters more than complex grammar. These words show the examiner that your answer has shape.

For a 90-second monologue, use two or three points. For a short writing task, use two points and one example.
Show both sides
Some YKI tasks ask you to discuss a problem, compare choices, or explain advantages and disadvantages. Use these frames when you need balance.

Compare two options
Use comparisons when the prompt gives you two choices, such as renting or buying, working as an employee or entrepreneur, living in a city or countryside.

General statements help you avoid repeating jag in every sentence.

Give advice or recommendations
Advice appears often in YKI prompts. These phrases are useful for health, family, work, money, children, and society.

Bör is especially useful because it sounds softer than måste.
End the answer
Your final sentence should make the answer feel complete. Use one of these.
